From time to time it is necessary to escalate an issue to the VMware GSS team. Oftentimes they will ask for a support bundle to gather all of the relevant logs for a product in order to perform troubleshooting steps. VMware Integrated OpenStack provides a method for gathering these logs in an easy manner and VMware has published a KB 2125261 article to assist vSphere Administrators.

The long and short of it, there is a single command to be executed on the VIO OMS management virtual machine. The following screenshot shows the required command, the expected output and displays the notice of where the support bundle is saved.


Hopefully you are already using a vRealize Log Insight service for redirecting all of the VMware Integrated OpenStack logs from both the OpenStack management VMs and the OMS management VM.
